Singapore is an easy place to explore; nothing in the city is more than an hour from the business district. Thanks to modern construction and outstanding architecture, Singapore is rapidly becoming a powerhouse trade city, but it maintains ties to its Asian roots through traditional temples and many cultural hotspots, like Little India and Kampong Glam. Clarke Quay is a historical riverside quay in Singapore, located within the Singapore River Planning Area really one of the fun places in Singapore. The quay is situated upstream from the mouth of the Singapore River and Boat Quay.
You can take a bumboat ride from here to cruise on the Singapore River, shopping, or just chilling out at one of their wine bars, pubs, and modern eateries, anyone looking to party the night away. Clarke Quay is a bustling place during the day and night time.
The place is the mouth of Singapore harbor. Here I highly recommend though is the boating ride here, it's a 30-minute cruise ride around this area up to the Merlion and Esplanade Building. There are a lot of restaurants and bars in the area. Inside there are fast food chains like McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, etc.
