Anjuna beach is famous for its remarkable natural beauty with coconut trees and soft white sands. In Anjuna beach organized the famous rave beach parties in the late 1950s to mid-1960s. Goa Beach Shacks
What to experience
Not long ago, Bogmalo was just another small fishing village, clustered by a pair of palm-fringed ridges at the northern end of Colva bay. You can still see those thatched hamlets nestling solitarily on the undulating sands of Bogmalo, complete with a tiny whitewashed Chapel and gangs of hogs wandering amidst the rubbish. Expensive café-bars pulsating with Western music have crept up the beach, while the slender streets nearby are prowled by tireless Kashmiri handicraft vendors. With all these bilateral attractions and a promise for an enticing watersport experience, vacationers in Goa find it irresistible not to hangout on the sun-kissed sands of Bogmalo Beach.
Why Goa Bogmalo beach is so special?
3. Colva Beach
Colva beach, in south Goa, is a hit with tourists looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of other beaches. It remains quiet and uncluttered for most parts of the year. However, in October it gets overcrowded because of a mountain influx of pilgrims visiting Colva Church to pay obeisance to infant Jesus.
Legend has it that this beach was named after Dona Paula de Menezes who threw herself off the liff because her love for a poor fisherman could not be realized. The story has been debated and contested. However, the beach gives a great view of Mormugao Harbour and the Arabian Sea. Its beauty has made it a perfect location for Indian filmmakers.
Many choose to go to the Goa Colva beach to experience a change from the crowded Anjuna or Calangute beaches. Colva beach in Goa is one beach which is usually less crowded. There are many shacks lined up along the Colva beach which offers you delicious Goan cuisine to be washed down by innovative cocktails. Sit in one of those shack, savor the mouth-watering food while looking at the vast sea in front of you.

Though there are eating joints and hotels around Colva, the Colva beach still manages to keep its serenity intact. Unlike Anjuna or Calangute, Colva beach in Goa gained popularity only lately. Over the years, many hotels and buildings have sprung from nowhere in and around these beaches in Goa. Colva beach is one of those beaches in this small Indian state of Goa that is developing at a very good pace.

12. Candolim Beach –
Why Goa Candolim beach is so special?

A Bouquet of fun, Frolic and Memory at Goa's Beaches

The sheer beauty of the beach is indescribable. With its rocky crescent and swaying palms, it's a delight to be here. Visit the beach to have a first-hand experience of how pleasurable it can be. Going to the Flea Market can be fun. For revelers, beach parties on the full moon are a must. In a time zone of their own, such parties throb with life and effortlessly convert night to day.

Bogmalo beach in Goa is beautiful in itself and many may disagree but it has been made special by the Oberois who manage a property here built by Trade Wings. This building is right on the sea. As the waves lash the parapets of the open-air restaurant, the drone of the restless Arabian Sea lulls to sleep even the most insomniac. This is one attraction which all the tourists eagerly look forward to submitting to, though some feel the Oberois have stolen the natural beauty of the beach. Beyond the building are mysterious little islands, shipwrecks in the silt and, around the hotel, plenty of pleasant eateries-each one of them claiming to be Osibisa's favorite. This pardonable selling trick began about 10 years ago when the Oberoi hosted the group.

It is a rocky beach showing the magnificent color of transparent water. Water is so transparent here that we can clearly see the rock inside the water. It is 22 Km. from Panaji and 8 Km from Mapusa. When we come to Anjuna beach, first comes a little handicraft market which is at some height where vehicles are parked, then through staircases, we go down to beautiful Anjuna beach. It is among the best beaches.

The beach is full of action and has a range of activities to offer. It's lined with hotels, bars, restaurants and beachfront shacks. At a short distance from the beach in St. Anthony's Church.

Why Goa Anjuna beach is special Goa Anjuna beach comes to life with the flea market and the full-moon beach parties at Goa Anjuna beach that continue throughout the night. The flea market at Goa Anjuna beach offers a tourist just about anything he desires, right from swimsuits to water-sports equipment to second-hand bikes to cameras to various trinkets that can take away as souvenirs to…just about anything. eateries, here is an excellent opportunity to savor the sandy pleasures of life. A stay in the rugged beach shacks where you can mess your holiday, the way you like. Oh! What a stay it would be to lie on the warm sands under swaying palm trees and kick back the afternoons with a chilled beer. The leisure dates back to the 60s when the hippies found a quarantined place to enjoy their hearts out. In the absence of hotels, it was the fisherman's family that catered to the culinary thirsts of the tourists. After several decades, you can still smell the same aroma, taste the same mussels and listen to the same rhymes that once made the greenhorns come over to this pristine land from miles afar. Welcome to Goa and make a stay in the rustic beach shacks a reason to celebrate your holiday vacation.

Goa Calangute beach is also called the 'Queen of Beaches' because the beauty you at find Calangute beach in Goa cannot be found elsewhere. Under the shade of palm trees, bathes the

Queen of Beaches-Calangute. Goa's Calangute seems to be a distortion of the local vernacular word-'Koli-gutti', which means land of fishermen. Some people connect it with Kalyangutti (village of art) or Konvallo-ghott (strong pit of the coconut tree) because the village is full of coconut trees. With the advent of the Portuguese, the word probably got distorted to Calangute and has stuck till today. In a green semi-circle, the villages of Arpora-Nagoa, Saligao and Candolim do their bit to enhance the divine beauty of Calangute. There are picturesque agors (saltpans) at Agarvaddo, Maddavaddo is full of madd (coconut trees), Dongorpur skirts a bottle-green hillock and Tivaivaddo laces the beach.
